Our Church’s Stance on Circumcision

Circumcision is not permitted in our church. We believe God designed our human body perfectly the way it is. Altering it would imply God’s design somehow needs alteration.

The skin over the penis serves its purpose. The purpose of the skin that covers the head of the sexual organ is to dial down the sensitivity so that our powerful mating mechanism doesn’t become hypersensitive. Circumcised penis unnaturally exposes the extra sensitive area of the organ amplifying sensitivity that can hyper-activate arousals and sexual urges. This increased in the sexual organ’s sensitivity can more easily activate the sexual mechanism and trigger hormones and emotions associated with it.

Looking at it from the design perspective, we can see God designed the foreskin as a cover to bring balance to our flesh/body’s powerful mating mechanism.
